‘Maisha by Misria’ was founded in 2022 by ‘Nur M’nasria’ Dubai-based Impact producer. Maisha by nisria was established out of a passion for sustainability, upcycling, and community empowerment. The brand specializes in creating one-of-one pieces made from upcycled fabrics, turning pre-loved materials into fashion statements.

At the heart of Maisha is its commitment to skills development. Recognizing the challenges faced by young adults in the region,  the brand established community training programs that equip them with the skills needed to thrive in the fashion industry. Since its inception , over 25 young adults have been trained and given employment opportunities within the studio.

The brand caters to socially conscious, fashion-forward individuals who value sustainable, handcrafted designs, appreciate culture, and seek to support impactful community initiatives through their purchases.

Locally, the brand has dressed artist Checkmatemido for his shows.  The brand has also worked with Dubai-based travel influencer Fly with Haifa, and styled musicians Essam Satti and Ali Naseraldeen in the Lost Boys Collection for their latest music video, ‘Naseem Shabaal.’

The studio is in Kikopey, Gilgil, in Nakuru County, Kenya. The products are available in Nairobi, Dubai and soon  in Japan
