Twende Soko is a fashion pop-up and learning experience organized by the British Council’s Creative DNA Program. It brings together emerging Kenyan fashion and accessories brands for a weekend of learning, networking, and showcasing.
Creative DNA is an incubation program by the British Council that supports young Kenyan designers by providing training, mentorship, and market access to help them build sustainable and globally competitive fashion businesses.
The masterclass is designed to equip young creatives (18–35 years) with practical knowledge and tools on topics such as social media strategy, consumer understanding, branding, and business growth in the fashion industry.
The masterclass is open to young fashion designers, accessory brands, stylists, and other fashion creatives and entrepreneurs aged 18–35 years who are passionate about growing their craft and business.
You can register online through the Creative DNA / British Council Kenya website or social media pages. Limited slots are available, so early registration is encouraged.

The pop-up is a market-style shopping event featuring some of Kenya’s most exciting emerging and mid-sized fashion and accessories brands.
The pop-up is open to the public. Everyone is welcome to come, browse, shop, and interact with the designers.

Yes! Shoppers can meet and engage directly with the designers, learn the stories behind their brands, and even place custom or bulk orders
